Paris, France: Gallimard, 1971. First French Edition . Soft Cover. The first French edition of Jack Kerouac's late work Satori in Paris, translated from the English by Jean Autret. With very rare dust jacket. Minor bump on rear cover of book and jacket. Minor chip at bottom of spine on jacket and two small notations on inside front cover & rear end page, otherwise in very fine condition. There are two previous owner lables on inside of front and rear cover; from original owner in Lowell, Mass. Also "Lowell City Library" stamps on top & bottom edges. A unique item with provenance from the town where Kerouac was born & raised, returned to after years of restless travel, is laid to rest & which figures in many of his works.
