Originally released in 1962 by the legendary Olympia Press in Paris, & with many subsequent editions in the U.S., U.K. & elsewhere, TTTE is a cut-up novel from the period following the breakthrough of Naked Lunch, where WSB literally cut up & scrambled text based on his ideas & those of Brion Gysin, his friend & collaborator. Different cut-up texts were employed in this & other works for various editions. Which text(s) were referred to by the translator, Andrew Tanzi, is not known. Perhaps an effectively new work has been created here, as those readers with a command of both languages would be able to discern. Text in Italian. With cover illustration by H.R. Giger from 1985.
