My Mother Would Be A Falconress

Berkeley, California: Oyez, 1968. Limited Edition. Broadside. 20" x 28" Broadside. Signed with citation by Robert Duncan. A large broadside by Robert Duncan, from a limited edition of approximately 100 un-numbered "restricted" copies not intended for sale, published in 1968 (Bertholf, A28(a), pg. 88). Duncan is a major figure in 20th century American poetry, associated with the Beats, the San Francisco Renaissance & the Black Mountain Poets. The text of the poem, My Mother Would Be A Falconress, is printed without any illustration on heavy paper stock. This copy is signed by the poet at the lower right corner to the right of his printed name, with a citation: “For Drew Parker (or Porter?)-Greene/autograph (sic) Oct. 22, 1969/Robert Duncan” (signature). In fine condition with only very mild spotting & faint creases not affecting text. An extremely rare & desirable Duncan collectible. Item is currently mounted on stiff board, in protective shrinkwrap; will be shipped rolled in a tube. This item cannot be sent by Media Mail, so extra shipping/ handling charges are required. Fine.
