Interestingly, WSB's "Other Texts" (or "autres contes") in this edition are completely different from those to be found in the first English edition. In the latter are The Book of Breething & Electronic Revolution; in this edition are Cobblestone Gardens, first published separately in English by Cherry Valley Editions in 1976; & The Retreat Diaries (or Journaux de Retraite), published separately in English by City Moon also in 1976, & including a short 1960 text by Allen Ginsberg, The Dream of Tibet, which is also here as Le Reve du Tibet. Translations by Philippe Mikriammos & Gerard-Georges Lemaire. Text in French, of course. Softcover original in sewn binding. A most interesting collectible variation on a WSB work, in near-fine condition with only moderate rubbing, browning & chipping at edges of laminated front, back covers & spine; small amount of spotting on both sides of lower corner of front endpaper; interior otherwise fine except for very mild browning of edges of pages, light vertical waving at upper area of some pages that may be as issued.
