The original booklet/playbill given to members of the audience attending a production of Allen Ginsberg's poetry set to the music of composer Philip Glass & staged by Ann Carlson. This production had its premier in May of 1990, & was performed on tour here in Ann Arbor, MI at the Michigan Theater on October 22 & 23, 1991. Many of Ginsberg's well-known poems or sections thereof (including "Howl," "Iron Horse" & "Wichita Vortex Sutra") were sung by classical singers, while Glass's music was played live by orchestra musicians. With capsule biographies, vintage ads, etc. A delightful relic of a significant Ginsberg-related event from late in his lifetime. In very fine condition, virtually mint inside & out. Very Fine.
