Untitled Broadside (first line: "The vomit vomits in the vomit"/)

n/p: Unknown, 1968. First Printing. Single Sheet. Hand-signed (abbreviated) by Edward Sanders. A broadside (11"x17") with an untitled, typically scurrilous poem by Ed Sanders, a key figure in literature, publishing & music (the Fugs) in the countercultural ferment of 1960s NYC & beyond. Issued as "My Dukes 3" as written on an illustration of a crown & clenched fists at lower left below poem, by an unknown printer/publisher. The last line of the poem is "Dec 1968" & so we presume that is at or near the month & year this was produced. Below & to the right of the poem, Sanders has handwritten his abbreviated signature, "Ed S." A bold production, & a prime Sanders collectible from the peak of his anger, protest & grooviness- as he writes near the end of this poem, "I/Ed Sanders, total LSD/driven maniac..." In very fine condition, virtually mint on coarse-textured handmade paper. Currently mounted on stiff board, in protective shrinkwrap. Will be shipped carefully rolled in a tube. Very Fine.
