A fine, rare chapbook by Thom Gunn (1929-2004), the Anglo-American poet, a true bohemian originally associated with "The Movement" style along with Philip Larkin, et.al. in England, later a pioneer in the exploration of gay themes while residing in San Francisco, & an admirer of Allen Ginsberg. The title poem refers to where Gunn lived in London during 1964-5. One of 150 numbered copies signed by the poet, this is #34/150. Hand-sewn with Chiri end-papers, with an illustration of the poet by Bill Schuessler on the front cover.
