Clarence, Center, NY: Textile Bridge Press, 1989. First Printing. Staplebound. A wonderful chapbook, No. three in the Esprit Critique Series published by Textile Bridge Press, a division of Moody Street Irregulars (the Kerouac journal edited by the late Joy Walsh). Author George Montgomery, a personal friend of Kerouac, interviewed Walter Gibson, author of the original Shadow stories & radio scripts for Orson Welles, a great influence on Kerouac (Dr. Sax et.al.). The result is this intriguing essay, issued posthumously after Montgomery's death in 1987. Introduction by noted magician The Amazing Kreskin. From the collection of the late James Perrizo, Beat collector, scholar & one-time assistant to Edie Kerouac Parker, Jack's former Wife. A great Kerouac collectible in very fine condition, with only mild rubbing to front & back glossy white covers. Very Fine. [Item #1758]
