Recontre Internationale Jack Kerouac

Quebec, Canada: Secretariat Permanent des Peuples Francophones, 1987. First Printing. Single Sheet. An 11" x 17&1/2" poster announcing a Jack Kerouac Conference in Quebec that was held on October 1-4, 1987. Text in French, featuring a photograph of Kerouac & a roster of participants including Carolyn Cassady (Neal's widow who recently died at age 90), Ann Charters (author of the first major biography of Kerouac), Allen Ginsberg, John Clellon Holmes, Gerald Nicosia (author of the acclaimed Kerouac biography, Memory Babe), & many others. From the collection of the late James Perrizo, beat collector, scholar & one-time assistant to Edie Kerouac Parker, Jack's former wife. Perrizo almost certainly attended this Conference, where he would have obtained this & many related publications we also offer. A rare collectible emphasizing Kerouac's French-Canadian heritage, in very fine, virtually mint condition.
