n/p: Higgins & Ross/Mill Town Graphics, 1988. First Printing. Single Sheet. A large (25" x 20&1/2") poster, featuring an expansive black & white photograph of Route 66 & the surrounding landscape, with a trail of neon zipping down the road, a hitchhiker's arm & hand with thumb beckoning (representing Jack Kerouac/Sal Paradise), & the name "Kerouac" in blue neonesque cursive in front of the clouds. The dynamic image, so evocative of the iconic Beat novel, is surrounded by wide white margins. From the collection of the late James Perrizo, Beat collector, scholar & one-time assistant to Edie Kerouac Parker, Jack's former wife. In near-mint condition with only very slight rubbing at upper-middle right margin.
