Burroughs, whose thoughtful (& also very characteristic) introduction precedes this novel. A key Ballard collectible in very fine condition: Book with only very mild rubbing to rear black cloth board, browning & spotting to edges, browning to front & rear endpapers, small (approx. 1/2") light tear to blank lower left & right rear endpapers near spine corner, otherwise virtually mint inside & out. Dust jacket also in very fine condition, with tiny amount of residue (from removed sticker?) at upper right corner of front cover, mild creasing at top & esp. bottom of spine, spotting, browning & mild creases at edges, tiny bumps & creases at corners esp. lower right front corner, mild rubbing of rear cover & a very small fingerprint fragment at middle-right edge of same.
