London, England: Trigram Press, 1968. First Printing. Broadside. An oblong broadside (7&3/4"x19&3/4") with illustration & a very short haiku-like poem by Asa Benveniste (1925-1990), poet, publisher (of Paul Bowles among others) & bookseller. Benveniste was born in NYC, moved to the UK early in his life & stayed there for the rest of his life. This exquisite Benveniste collectible was produced in London in 1968 in an edition of unknown but undoubtedly small quantity, & is extremely rare. In very fine condition with two light horizontal creases where originally folded into thirds, not effecting illustration or text; otherwise mint on fine paper. Mounted on stiff board, in protective shrinkwrap (tiny spots are on surface of shrinkwrap, not the broadside itself). Item is currently mounted on stiff board, in protective shrinkwrap; will be shipped rolled in a tube. Very Fine. [Item #1973]
