Blowing Mouth/The Jazz Poems 1958-1970

Cherry Valley, NY: Cherry Valley Editions, 1978. First Edition. Softcover. A collection of poems influenced by the beat of jazz (which of course influenced the prose & poetry of many Beat icons, notably Jack Kerouac) by Ray Bremser, who really lived a quintessentially Beat life & was a close associate of Allen Ginsberg & others. As noted in Bremser's short, eccentrically spelled introduction, some of the poems appeared previously in various journals. Stated first edition, softcover original published by Cherry Valley editions, the imprint of noted author-cultural legend Charles Plymell & his wife Pamela Beach Plymell, who were also friends & associates with the poet. A key Bremser item, in very fine condition with only the slightest rubbing & spotting to front, back covers & edges. Interior virtually mint. Very Fine. [Item #1996]
