Louisville, KY: the literary renaissance, circa 1993. First Printing. Single Sheet. A broadside/poster (11"x17") announcing a reading by Gregory Corso, one of the founding members of the Beat Generation, at the University of Louisville on November 20, (probably) 1993. Reproduction of a photograph of Corso gazing at a large statue of Christ on the cross, taken by Allen Ginsberg, on which text is super-imposed. With quotes about Corso from William S. Burroughs ("Gregory is indeed one of the Daddies"), Ginsberg & Jack Kerouac. The literary renaissance, a non-profit organization that has issued many important chapbooks & broadsides by iconic Beat figures, published this item & also sponsored the event it announces. A very rare & exciting Corso collectible, in very fine condition with only a few minor creases at bottom right corner; four very light horizontal creases along left edge, small amount of rubbing along lower left edge.
