Madison, WI: The Wisconsin Institute for Intermedia Studies, n/d (circa 1980s). First Printing. Single Sheet. A broadside-poster (11"x17") announcing a reading by Diane di Prima, among the key female literary figures of the Beat Generation & beyond. The reading took place in Madison, Wisconsin under the auspices of the Wisconsin Institute for Intermedia Studies, with di Prima headlining "plus a spotlite on Madison poets." With reproduction of a well-known early photograph of the poet. The date of the event was February 26th, there is no reference to the year but we believe it was approximately the early 1980s. A most unique collectible di Prima item, in very fine condition with only very light rubbing, light creasing & scratching of surface; two very tiny gauge-holes near top left & middle upper edges (not fully penetrating); one minor vertical gauge that very slightly effects the second "e" in "Presents" near top right edge just within line-margin (also not fully penetrating); tiny crease-bump at lower right corner.
Item is currently mounted on stiff board, in protective shrink wrap, will be shipped carefully rolled in a tube. This item cannot be sent by Media Mail, so extra shipping/handling charges are required. Very Fine. [Item #2036]
