This July 1983 number of the literary journal/zine features a lengthy poem by the legendary Beat-cult author Charles Bukowski, The Pelicans. Also, a review of the LP recording Allen Ginsberg with Still Life; a memorial acknowledgment of the death that year of poet Ted Berrigan on inside front cover, with reproduction of a photograph of Berrigan by Louis Cartwright; many other contributions of poetry & prose; portfolios of illustrations by Jud Hart II, Jim Sherraden & Treesa Haney-Lauria; more reviews, & wonderful vintage ads for undoubtedly long-gone Boulder & Denver book shops, record stores, etc. A significant item from the zine era, especially for the Bukowski collector. In fine condition with only rubbing & soiling to front, back covers & spine; thin vertical crease along front cover at spine edge; residue from removed sticker over price below title on front cover; very tiny bumps at all cover corners, top & bottom of spine; spotting at top edge.
