A large poster (16"x22") announcing an appearance by Allen Ginsberg, primary poet of the Beat Generation, on March 17, 1986, at a venue in Lowell, Massachusetts. The event was part of a celebration of Jack Kerouac around the time of what would have been his sixty-fourth birthday (March 12) in his hometown. With reproduction of an iconic photograph of Kerouac taken by Ginsberg in NYC in 1953, with Ginsberg's hand-written description & signature reproduced below. A bold, historic collectible with reference to two Beat giants. In very fine condition with only very light waves & creases esp. along right edge, otherwise bright, never having been folded into halves or quarters.
