TRIP: For Joanna

n/p: Unknown, 1972. First Printing. Single Sheet. Inscribed & signed by Michael McClure. A broadside (approx. 10"x15") with the title poem by Michael McClure, primary poet & playwright of the San Francisco Renaissance, the Beat Generation & beyond. Dedicated to his then-wife Joanna, it was "Printed for the poet's reading, 25 May 1972." There is no reference to printer, publisher or location of the reading. Below the text of the poem & the information line, McClure has hand-written: "For Fred & Edi/(signed) Michael." A beautiful production on handmade paper with irregular left side & bottom edges. A very rare McClure collectible, especially with inscription & first-name signature. In very fine condition with only very light waving & creasing esp. at edges & corners; light pencil price of previous seller at mid-right upper edge; light pencil notation at lower left corner outside margin.

Item is currently mounted on stiff board, in protective shrink wrap, will be shipped carefully rolled in a tube.
