An oblong broadside (17"x11") announcing "A Reading to Benefit Upriver-Downriver;/A Northern California Regional Newsletter./Tuesday, 10 February at 8 pm in the/(Humboldt State University) Van Duzer Theatre.../With the Sponsorship of the HSU English Dept." featuring Gary Snyder, a primary poet of the Beat Generation & beyond; as well as acclaimed fellow California poets Jim Dodge & Jerry Martien. The year is not noted, but we have calculated it to be 1978. The poets' names are printed in a column in bold calligraphy. Above Snyder's printed name, to the left of Dodge's & below Martien's, are all three poets' hand-signatures. With illustration signed by "Okamura/Breedlove." A beautiful production, & an outstandingly rare collectible signed by these three poets. In very fine condition with only some short, faint creasing along surface; group of tiny blue spots near lower left edge, a few more along lower left margin, & one just below illustration, all possibly as issued. Currently mounted on stiff board, in protective shrinkwrap. Will be shipped carefully rolled in a tube. Very Fine. [Item #2405]
