Los Angeles, CA: Black Sparrow Press, 1973. First Printing. Single Sheet. Signed by Diane Wakoski. A broadside-prospectus (10"x14") announcing the publication of a volume of three parts of the epic title poem by Diane Wakoski, the acclaimed, prolific poet who has long resided in Michigan. Featuring a portion of one of the parts, issued as Broadside/Flyer No. 6 by the venerable Black Sparrow Press. The Press published the book being promoted here customarily in several limited editions in 1973, including an edition of 50 copies signed by the poet & with an original holograph poem included. At the left lower margin below publisher's name & address, Wakoski has hand-signed her name with her characteristic vertical series of illustrations & dots. A beautiful, exemplary Black Sparrow production; an important piece of Wakoski ephemera; & a very desirable rarity within a rarity. In very fine condition with only one horizontal & one vertical neat crease across surface where originally folded into quarters; very mild, faint waving across surface.
