A broadside (5&1/2"x17") announcing readings, lectures & discussions by Thomas McGrath (1916-1990), the acclaimed poet, novelist & documentary screenwriter; & noted, prolific poet Diane Wakoski, a long-time Michigan resident. The events took place at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis during February of (we are almost certain, though no year is mentioned) 1981. With photographs, brief biographies & event details along two vertical columns. Wakoski has hand-signed her name, with her characteristic series of illustrations & dots, in the margin below her image. A very rare & significant piece of literary ephemera, & a most desirable Wakoski collectible. In very fine condition with only one neat horizontal crease across middle where originally folded in half; otherwise substantially mint. Currently mounted on stiff board, in protective shrinkwrap.
