St. Paul, MN: The College of St. Catherine's, Circa 1990. First Printing. Single Sheet. A broadside (11"x14") announcing a poetry reading by Diane Wakoski, the acclaimed & prolific poet who has long resided in Michigan. The event took place at The College of St. Catherine in St. Paul during April of (we believe most likely from our research) 1990. With excerpts from two poems, "The Pink Dress" & "Love Letter Postmarked Van Beethoven." With photograph of the poet; a list of some of her collections up to that time & a note that she was the winner of the 1988 Poetry Society of America's William Carlos Williams award. A bold broadside, & a desirable Wakoski rarity. In fine condition with only a series of faint horizontal waves across surface; a few short, faint creases esp. at upper left edge. Currently mounted on stiff board, in protective shrinkwrap. Will be shipped carefully rolled in a tube. Fine. [Item #2448]
