As stated in the colophon below the poem & Waldman's hand-signature, "From Anne Waldman's forthcoming Toothpaste/Press Book, Make Up on Empty Space, fall 1983./Number 24 of 175 signed copies printed for/The 9th New York Book Fair, May 1983." The collection referred to was actually published the following year (1984). With an exquisite illustration of a feather in background of text, in which there is a reference to a "...painted feather." A beautiful production, & an exceptionally rare Waldman collectible. In very fine substantially mint condition on naturally slightly wrinkled handmade paper with slightly irregular lower edge. Mounted on stiff board, in protective shrinkwrap. Very Fine. [Item #2474]
