A poster announcing & setting forth the schedule for the 7th Annual Writers Week at UC Riverside, a series of readings, performances & other happenings held at the University of California at Riverside during February of (we believe) 1984. Among the literary figures who participated in this event were the best-selling mystery novelist Tony Hillerman (1925-2008); blockbuster author Larry McMurtry; noted poet Diane Wakoski; & many others. Also, there was a production of the play "Uncommon Women" by the popular feminist playwright Wendy Wasserstein (1950-2006). With reproductions of photographs of four of the participants including Hillerman, McMurtry & Wakoski. A bold, attractive production; & a significant piece of literary ephemera. In very fine condition with only one mild, horizontal crease where originally folded in half; otherwise substantially mint. Currently mounted on stiff board, in protective shrinkwrap.
