A compilation of seven short story-monologue transcripts that menacingly recount the riveting, raw street experiences of the author, a time & place now gone along with him. One of 150 numbered copies, this is No. 107/150. A hand-crafted production printed with a vintage Gestetner duplicator by Jim Pennington's legendary Aloes Books, publisher of such desirable classics as William S. Burroughs' White Subway. Also includes a loose Xerox-style reproduction of a photograph of Wojnarowicz with limitation ("107") stamped on verso; & a developed photograph on thick stock identified on verso as "Leaping the Chasm/ H H Bennett, 1887" with the note "This photograph was one of/ the cover options for the/ 1982 Aloes edition of/ "Sounds in the Distance" attached as rear endpaper. An amazing, most desirable Wojnarowicz collectible; an exemplary Aloes masterpiece destined for ever-increasing value. In very fine, new condition with tiny bumps & creases at corners of front, back wrappers & spine as issued; tiny bumps at corners & slightly rough-hewn upper edges of interior page leaves, also as issued; loose & attached insertions noted above are pristine.
