Also in this issue is a 1946 letter by Dada legend Antonin Artaud to Peter Watson, translated from the French into English by Eshleman & others; a series of candid photographs & text relating to a production by iconic film & theater director John Cassavetes; the poem "Maithuna" by the great Octavio Paz translated from Spanish into English by Eliot Weinberger; three poems by Beat-&-Beyond master Gary Snyder; three poems by the prolific Deep Image-&-Beyond poet Diane Wakoski (also a long-time resident of Michigan); a portfolio of photos depicting the works of mixed-media artist Timothy Washington; transcription of notes on the practice of poetry written by the venerable William Carlos Williams in 1933; & much more.
