Hardcover in unclipped dust jacket, first edition published simultaneously with a softcover edition during 1986. A significant Knauth collectible, in very fine condition: Book with only a bit of rubbing & spotting to edges & corners of plain gray cloth front, back covers & spine (latter with completely bright & intact gilt lettering); mild spotting to edges of text block esp. upper edge. Interior very fine with only sparse spotting to blank paste-downs & endpapers; otherwise substantially mint. Dust jacket very fine with only a bit of rubbing to front, back covers & spine; very light wear & a few tiny bumps, creases at edges & corners of same; moderate, light spotting at blank verso of jacket.
