All the poems here relate to Clark's travels through & observations of various localities in the American High Plains region. Dedicated to & with an introduction by Ed Dorn, the late great Black Mountain School epic poet. Hardcover in decorative boards with cloth spine to which is affixed title/author strip, with photo-reproduction of a painting by Clark (also a talented artist) tipped-in to second front page leaf. One of a limited edition of 26 lettered copies signed by Clark & "...each with a page of holograph in the poet's hand" per colophon, where this is hand-designated copy "T". On the preceding page, below a reproduction of his self-portrait drawing, Clark has hand-written his signature & written below it "All I want to do/ is to go back to Pueblo," all in bold black ink. A superb production in its very rarest form; & a most desirable collectible in the Clark canon. In very fine condition with only very light rubbing & staining at small upper area of spine esp. front cover spine-edge; light spotting to upper & lower edges of text block; short, very faint creases at blank lower corners of last two page leaves; otherwise virtually mint inside & out.
