This landmark event was dedicated to the Kentucky writer Leon Driskell, & took place in Louisville during late September- early October of 1994. Among the participants were the acclaimed biographer-historian Douglas Brinkley (whose "Majic Bus film crew" is noted as having filmed the event for PBS Television) & the legendary Beat progeny poet-memoirist-musician Jim Carroll.
