With reproduction of an exquisite woodcut illustration by the Vietnamese artist Vo-Dinh (1933-2009) following the poems. A simple, beautiful chapbook production by Unicorn Press, the imprint co-founded by Savory with her husband, the poet Alan Brilliant. Per colophon, this is one of 974 copies in the first trade edition, an additional 26 copies were hardbound, lettered & signed by Savory. An essential & desirable Savory collectible, in very fine condition with only very slight rubbing & sunning to front, back covers & spine; a touch of wear & a few tiny bumps, creases at thin edges & corners of same (right corner of front cover is irregular as issued on handmade paper); light spotting to edges of text block. Interior very fine with only tiny bumps at mostly lower corners of page leaves. Very Fine. [Item #3940]
