Cat Digging Walls

Ventura, CA: X-Ray Book Company, 2005. Limited First Edition. Single Sheet. "...the cell pretends / protection but I sit unsatisfied / with oral walls which whisper words / & say 'the life's prolonged / supposition here is strong.'" (from Title Poem, "Cat Digging Walls"). A limited edition poetry broadside measuring 5" x 7" and printed letterpress on card stock by Master Printer Johnny Brewton at the X-Ray Book Company. Issued in April 2005 as a selection in the Broadside of the Month series from X-Ray Book Company in an edition of 100 copies. This copy is marked "contributor's copy" on back. Bremser, noted poet, pot-martyr, Hunckean huckster and onetime Methedrine enthusiast provides some of his signature verse on this bite-sized broadside for the initiated. Found with this broadside was a note from the proprietor-publisher of Water Row Books, Jeffrey Weinberg; our assumption is that this particular collectible was--at some point in time--part of an unrelated bundle in a prior sale. In very fine condition, virtually as new. Very Fine. [Item #3977]
