With an insightful introduction by Jack Hirschman, the firebrand poet-translator-activist who was Crowe's important mentor during the BBG/ SSFR era & later was appointed the Poet Laureate of San Francisco. Hirschman is discussed extensively by Crowe in SFSF. Trade-format softcover original, first edition. On the title page, Crowe has hand-written his signature below his printed name in bold blue ink. An excellent compilation of Crowe's later work; with the collectible association & provenance of the poet himself. In very fine condition with only very slight rubbing & scratching (including light impression of writing on front cover not effecting image or text) to front, back covers & spine; a few tiny bumps at edges & corners of same.
