"This new collection of short fiction by one of the world's greatest...writers includes a novella and eleven short stories and represents some of (Gabriel) Garcia Marquez's earlier work of the 1950s as well as stories written in the 1960s and 1970s. (from front flap) A collection of three decades' worth of stories & the title novella by Gabriel Garcia Marquez (1927-2014), the Nobel Prize-winning canonical Colombian author who famously invented & popularized the style of "Magical Realism" in his many classic novels & stories such as these.
