This 2015 number of the magazine-format literary journal edited & published by Kevin Ring in the UK features a talk-based essay by Peter Anastas describing a visit to the great "Maximus" poet Charles Olson by none other than the Founding Father of the Beat Generation himself, Jack Kerouac, during October of 1968, the twilight of both literary giants' lives, with Kerouac so sadly drunk that he passed out into the arms of his in-laws who had accompanied him & had to be carried away...Also in this especially spectacular issue are several very important articles relating to William S. Burroughs, including by Jed Birmingham (of Reality Studio fame) on WSB's legendary residency in Tangier & his contributions to Jeff Nuttall's My Own Mag, by Heathcote Williams on WSB in London, & the episode of a suitcase of primary materials left behind by WSB during 1960 & later retrieved by Melville Hardiment; along with other WSB topics by David Holzer, & another piece by Holzer about the November 2014 annual Conference of the European Beat Studies Network (ebsn.eu) at Tangier in commemoration of WSB's centenary.
