This is a most unique item, an original libretto for an opera based on the book "Famous for Fifteen Minutes: My Years with Andy Warhol" by his "superstar" Ultra Violet, as yet unproduced. It is a copy of the libretto by John Stirling Walker, without musical notations by composer David Conte. Twenty-three spiral bound pages with clear plastic front cover & black plastic back cover. Also contains a single folded sheet with short biographies of author, composer, librettist & conductor John Kendall Bailey. This document was personally given to songwriter/producer Beth Biderman & her husband, artist Richard Meyers, by Ultra Violet, whom they have both been friends with for many years. Very rare & hardly circulated, in very fine condition with only very minor folding & creases to edges of some pages. Very Fine. [Item #1620]
