What Happened To Jackson

ISBN: 0856520357
London, England: Aloes Books, 1978. First Softcover Edition. Softcover. "Is it Jackson that hates women? What was it causing him all his pain? And who is the murderer? And who are the victims?"(from back cover) One of a first edition of 1,000 softcover copies, a dizzying, disturbingly wacky story by Jeff Nuttall. Polymath, anarchist, literary agent provocateur, he is best known by Beat Generation aficionados for his self-published run of the literary journal My Own Mag during the early-mid 1960s, featuring many important contributions by William S. Burroughs, now coveted by collectors. This is one of his own works, originally written in 1972 & published in 1978. With a firework of an illustration by Jeff Keen on front cover, & reproductions of erotic nude photographs by the author preceding the text & on back cover. A very desirable Jeff Nuttall collectible, in very fine condition, virtually mint, in glossy wrappers with different shades of background that may be the result of mild browning/sunning, but probably as produced & issued. Very Fine. [Item #1865]
