This number of the 1980s-90s literary journal published right here in our beloved city of Ann Arbor, Michigan, edited by Marla Huber Smith & Pat Smith, features five poems by Cid Corman (1924-2004), a most esteemed poet, editor & publisher, renowned especially for his legendary Origin magazine beginning in the early 1950s through several series until the 1980s. One of Corman's many proteges, who contributed to Origin, is the great American poet Clayton Eshleman, among our own friends & mentors who resides in this area. In this issue, Eshleman contributes two poems, & he has hand-written his signature at his reference on the contents page. Also poems by the venerable Deep Image-movement poet Robert Kelly, local acclaimed poets & our friends Ken Mikolowski & Keith Taylor, along with many more. With front & back cover (same) illustration by English artist Joe Tilson, who is the subject of an interview in this issue conducted by David C. D. Gansz during 1981; notes on contributors. Large-format softcover in perfect binding. A key vintage issue in this collectible series, especially with Eshleman's signature & contributions. In very fine condition with only very slight rubbing to front, back covers & spine; very light wear & a few tiny bumps & short, faint creases at edges & corners of same; tiny amount of rubbing to upper edge of text block.
