Crowe was at the center of the Baby Beat Generation/ Second San Francisco Renaissance during the 1970s (see our book, Starting From San Francisco, Item No. 3071, Deluxe Edition No. 3075), & was born in & has long-returned to the rural Appalachian region of North Carolina. Per colophon, this is a "limited edition printing" with no reference to total number of copies, of which 50 were numbered & signed by Ezzard. This copy, obtained by us from Crowe's library, is not numbered or signed by Ezzard, but on the copyright page, below & next to reference to himself & NNP, Crowe has hand-written his signature in bold blue ink. A delicious (so to speak) Ezzard collectible with important publisher's association & provenance. In very fine condition with only mild rubbing & sparse spotting to front, back covers & spine; a bit of wear & a few tiny bumps at edges & corners of same; one small, faint crease near upper right corner of front cover; previous seller's somewhat rubbed & faded barcode sticker in blank area of lower back cover. Interior very fine with only small, faint, diminishing creases at upper corners of page leaves; tiny bumps at corners of some of same. Very Fine. [Item #4258]
