A desirable Durrell collectible with distinguished provenance, & in relatively fine condition after long ownership & use by Erin, who was a true Beat-Bohemian to the end: Mild rubbing, browning, fading & occasional small spot-staining to front, back covers & spine; very slight wear & a few tiny bumps, creases at thin edges & corners of same; mild rubbing, browning & sparse spotting to edges of text block. Interior very fine with only a few spots at blank front endpaper & blank areas of first page leaf; small, faint creases & tiny bumps at corners of some esp. upper leaves. Fine. [Item #4718]
