Wormwood Review Vol. 26 No. 4 (No. 104, 1986)
Stockton, CA, USA: The Wormwood Review, 1986. Limited First Printing. Stapled Wrappers. Presented here is the 104th installment of The Wormwood Review, the legendary literary journal edited by Marvine Malone (1930-1996). This issue features some really tasty contributors — the highlight being Charles Bukowski (1920-1994) with his poems “The History of a Tough Motherfucker:” and “Don’t Play it Again Sam”. Also worth highlighting is the “Special Section” that features Ronald Baatz’s “Second hand” and poetry from American poet and former poetry editor at Chiron Review Gerald Locklin (1941-2021). Chapbook-format journal in stapled wrappers, one of an edition of 700 hand-numbered copies of which this is No. 405/700 as stated at colophon: “The edition of this issue has been limited to 700 numbered copies, the first 70 being signed by Ronald Baatz. The copy now in your hand is number: 405” (pg. 160). Another rich & scarce issue in this most-collectible series, of particular importance to the Bukowski devotee with its exemplars of Buk's very late works (Debritto, B1333, pg. 336) In very fine condition with minor toning to edges and fraying to fine edges. Very Fine. [Item #7160]
