On the title page, Biddinger has hand-dated, inscribed & signed in blue ink: "11/15/08/ For Dan./ with much/ admiration./ winter wheat/ 08!/ (signed) Mary B." Biddinger has also hand-written her full signature below her crossed-out printed name thereon. "Dan" is Dan Rzicznek (b. 1979), an esteemed Ohio poet & academician at Bowling Green State University. Rzicznek has hand-written his ownership signature in black ink ("F. Daniel Rzicznek") at blank upper right margin of front endpaper/ shorter title page. An essential & foundational Biddinger collectible in its rarest contemporary form, greatly enriched by her complimentary & affectionate poet-to-poet inscription & signatures dated close to publication, with distinguished, relevant association & provenance. In very fine condition with only very slight rubbing, faint scratching to front, back covers & spine; a touch of wear & a few tiny bumps, creases at edges & corners of same.
