A print of a detailed black and white drawing that splits a person's (actress Paige Turco?) face into two halves, with the top half appearing as a reflection in rippling water, creating a surrealistic, dream-like effect, by "Samuel Th. Frude" (to the best of our interpretation), though whomever he was he was presumably a friend of Albert Glover’s, or at the very least a local artist that Glover commissioned for art and wanted to highlight. Offered today is the original artwork "She|She|Grey Eyes|Desirable." From the collection of Albert Glover (b. 1942), the great American scholar, bibliographer, author & publisher who is the foremost living authority on literary giant Charles Olson (1910-1970), with whom we’re honored to be acquainted. Signed and dated in pencil near bottom right corner: “Samuel Th. Frude.” Single sheet (approx. 15” x 22”). Original artwork, no. 6/14 as written near bottom left corner. In very fine condition with only the slightest wear to fine edges. Very Fine. [Item #8620]
