Limited Edition Print (Untitled, 1975)
Unknown: N/P, 1975. Limited First Edition. Single Sheet. Signed & dated by unknown artist to Albert Glover with handwritten limitation. A limited print (appx. 22.5"x 15") by an unknown artist depicting a typewriter, a telephone & other objects in black & white. The style is abstract & expressive, using bold lines and shading to depict the various objects. From the collection of Albert Glover (1942-2026), the great American scholar, bibliographer, author & publisher who until recently was the foremost living authority on literary giant Charles Olson (1910-1970; our favorite Maximus Obscurantist), with whom we're honored to have been acquainted. At bottom right corner, the unknown artist has handwritten his signature & date in pencil: "12/15/75 [initials]." At bottom left corner, someone (presumably the artist) has handwritten the limitation & Glover's name in pencil: "10/12 Al Glover." A most collectible art print with relevant association & very distinguished provenance. In relatively very fine condition with very mild age-toning & creasing to fine edges, otherwise mint. Very Fine. [Item #8670]
