With illustrations at covers & interior by Ralph Turner (not likely the late (1920-2013) British painter). Journal in stapled wrappers, presumed first edition, first-&-only printing though neither specified at recto first leaf contents/copyright page. From the collection of Robin Eichele (b. 1941), a respected American poet who co-founded the Detroit Artists' Workshop with the legendary John Sinclair (1941-2024) during 1964. Eichele has hand-written his ownership signature, & below that the date "1-13-65," at blank upper right margin of recto first leaf. The date (of January 13, 1965) so close to time of publication further indicates with certainty this item's status as a first edition/printing. A classic collectible chock-full of Primary Third Mind Favorites at-or-near their Zenith, in its singularly rarest contemporary form & with most-distinguished, relevant association & provenance. In exceptionally relatively fine condition with mild rubbing, faint scratching to front, back covers & stapled spine; a bit of wear & some tiny bumps, creases at/from edges & corners of same; light rubbing, age-toning & spotting to edges of text block.
